The free generator sends us nothing

The QR generator on the home page runs entirely in your browser. The link you type is turned into a code on your own device and never reaches our servers. If you never sign up, we hold nothing about you beyond ordinary web server logs.

What we store when you have an account

Your email address, the codes you create (their name, their short link, where they point, and their design), and any files you upload to host behind a code. That is what the product needs to work — nothing is collected for its own sake.

What we record when someone scans your code

A scan writes one row: the time, the code that was scanned, a truncated IP address, the browser and operating system reported by the device, and a country and city derived from that truncated address. We truncate the address before storing it, so scans cannot be traced back to an individual person. We do not set cookies on the people who scan your codes and we do not build profiles of them.

Payments

Card and UPI details go to Razorpay, our payment processor, and are never stored on our systems. We keep a record of which plan you are on and the invoices we have issued you.

Who else sees your data

Our hosting provider and our payment processor, because the product cannot run without them. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.

Keeping your codes working

Your codes keep resolving whether or not you pay us. If you close your account we will delete your personal details, but we will tell you clearly and in advance what happens to codes you have already printed, and give you the full export of every code and where it points before anything changes.

Your choices

You can export all of your codes and their destinations in one click, at any time, on any plan. You can ask us to correct or delete what we hold about you by writing to the address below.
